This is the very classic and legendary Elvis RCA LPM 1990 For LP Fans Only - originally issued beginning Feb. 1959. I am an Elvis collector and to me this and LP 1254 are his best /must haves of early material other than the Golden records series. - And the Photos on the cover are some of his BEST. Although the record carries a 1S matrix no. it would seem that the record was actually sold at a much later time period as evidenced by what I believe to be the original inner sleeve. Because Elvis had been in the Army for quite some time, and this album contained older material - this album never sold well and only reached 23 on the charts. Recently I have seen this album go off at $210 and $500 on e-Bay - Which made me think maybe I should list mine. I also have the UK version of this album that I use for listening. CONDITION: Is Mint minus cover. There are a couple of pieces of the shrink missing. Visually the record does show some signs of handling - a few very very light scuffs and scratches - The Grade ? from 1 to 10 - probably a 9. Mint minus ? Maybe. Or maybe VG++. Nice to be sure. The label on side 2 shows spindle marking from maybe 2 plays. Side 1 label shows no spindle markings. Comes with what I believe to be it's original inner sleeve though I have no proof.
