Description
Up for auction is a very rare Elvis/ Perry Como misprinted LP. The Cover, front and back, is a print of Elvis Presley’s 1st release LPM-1254; I believe this is the desired early pressing based on the pale pink and green tones of the title. Side 2 of the vinyl has a corresponding Elvis label. Side 1 of vinyl has a Perry Como Sings Christmas label. The music on both sides of the actual vinyl is of Perry Como. The cover is in good condition. The front is a nice representation of Elvis’ debut upon appearance, but does have some flaws. The top right corner has a slight crease. There is a very faint ring from the record beginning to show. There is also some slight scratching from marker removal, though it has been neatly restored and is only visible in some light, Please see photos. The back looks great. The white is holding color well for its age, with only slight discoloration around the rim and a very faint record-ring. The black print appears bold, with very little wear. The edges have some tears from the record pushing through. The record itself has a nice sheen to it with minor scratches. As photo shows, there is a slight warp, but record still plays fine. Unless this album attracts attention from a collector, I think that it is a great chance for someone to pick up a nice-looking display cover for their Elvis LPM-1254 vinyl. Please ask any questions.
