Description

MYSTERY TRAIN/I FORGOT TO REMEMBER TO FORGET 45.1st pressing issued in 1955.Matrix numbers are 45-U-156X  20 and 45-U-157X  20.The number 20 is higher than the rest, and less than a half inch apart. Both these indicate a first pressing.PLEASE NOTE: In addition to the usual dead wax markings found on this 45, this record also has stamped into the dead wax on both sides what looks like “M.S.I CO” backwards.  This indicates that it was manufactured at the M.S.I. Pressing Plant in Philadelphia, which handled the overflow pressing orders from Sun Records in 1955.  This is a variation that does not show up as often as the local Memphis pressings.  Sun 223 is also the one 45 out of the first five Elvis Sun Label 45s that does not have the three “push marks”, because even locally Sam Phillips used a different pressing plant than he did for the other four records.Selling off a SINATRA collection, check out the other SINATRA 78's and combine. These have been in storage for decades, some could use a cleaning,i'll let you do that.Comes from a smoke free home.I have shipped many 78's,they will be packaged safely and arrive unharmed.Visual grading only.Record looks G/VG.Lots of light to medium surface wear.Has many scratches, but nothing terrible. No cracks or chips.Buyer pays $10 for shipping with insurance. No international sales.Good luck.
