Description

This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1961 EP release ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis By Request released in the USA.

The record itself (LPC-128 ) is in VERY GOOD+ condition with a few marks/scratches (nothing too deep though ).

The centre labels have NO WRITING (see photos)

The unusual thing about this Extended Play is that it pays at 33 1/3 rpm and has a small centre drill hole (all USA EP releases usually had the larger hole making them suitable for a jukebox.(see photos)

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $35 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- )for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is over 52 years old and is in nice condition for the age.

There are NO SPLITS, RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!(see photos)

The ONLY THING that stops this from grading much higher is some age discolouration/ringwear.

This sleeve grades as EXCELLENT-

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70.(£45). I guess the value now would be around £50

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!

This would make a great affordable collection filler until that mint £55 copy comes along.
