Description

Here is an extremely rare Elvis artifact: a box set, which according to the Presleyana book, was a "specially prepared, complimentary gift box given to invited guests at the Showroom Internationale on July 31, 1969." This copy includes everything you can see in the second photo above: both original LPs (one of which is still sealed), the 9-page RCA press release, the 36-page full-color Elvis Records and Tapes catalog, four Elvis 1969 pocket calendars, color 8" x 10" photo with replica signature, two black-and-white 8" x 10" glossy photos from the Elvis TV Special and of course the box itself. 


The Elvis TV Special LP is still sealed, never opened and never played--we assume the LP is mint; the cover is near-mint with tiny shelf dings on the very tips of the corners. The other, From Elvis In Memphis, is still in the original shrinkwrap and in excellent condition with a few faint surface marks on the play surface and slight dings on the tips of the corners. The outer box is a strong VG with split corners (see photo #11 above) and the paper "hinge" long since come apart. The four Elvis 1969 pocket calendars and mini catalog are all VG+ to excellent with minor sings of handling. The three photos (two black and white glossy, and one full color textured) are excellent, as is the original 9-page RCA press release.
