Welcome------you are bidding on a RCA EPA-4108 45rpm record.

Vinyl:       Black Label, Dog on Top.   Record is graded VG+ (see gradings below) In this case, VG+ means a lot of fine surface scratches, some finger prints, and smudges.  Nothing that will cause a skip or even a pop.  Maybe a hiss.....but that is about it.

Sleeve:    MINT.  Grading sleeves is hard.  This one is a little stiffer than a paper sleeve, more like what a 33rpm sleeve would be. There is not a single crease mark anywhere to be found.  High gloss picture.  The only small negative thing I can find is a pen mark on the reverse side in the bottom right corner.  Someone wrote NOV/1957 in a font about 1/4 letters.  There is also a red stamp (faint but still there) the reads "Not for sale" "Radio Station Use Only"

RECORDS:  

          Sealed: Store stock new

• Mint: Like new or near new with only one or two small insignificant defects
• Near Mint/M-: Extremely nice. Would be Mint, except for a possibly a couple of light hairlines or scuffs
• VG++: Still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss but may have a few more light, surface marks, hairlines, needle tracks or the like
• VG+: A nice, but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It probably plays with a some pops
• VG: A well-used record that still should sound OK when played, but may have moderate surface noise, pops, and even a possible skip.
• VG-: A very well-worn record that plays through, probably has skipping and snap, crackle, pop
• Good: Probably will play through but with much in the way of surface noise, pops, crackles, skips etc.
• Fair: You’re getting this record just to own.
• Poor: The sky’s the limit as far as condition in the negative sense

COVERS:

There are really too many possible defects regarding covers to be as specific in my definitions as I had been with my record grades. But please keep in mind these general grading guidelines:

• I will give greater weight to the condition of the front cover than back cover when assigning an overall grade
• Stickers – I will state if there are any
• If I write that a cover has a punch-hole, I’m talking about a small punch-press type hole
• A factory saw mark is a narrow cut in the perimeter of the cover, could be anywhere and vary in length from 1/2” to 2” at the most.
