Welcome------you are bidding on a RCA 447-0647 Gold Standard Series 45rpm

Unusual hard cardboard sleeve.

I have been selling off my entire Elvis collection for over a year now.  I have met many new collectors through Ebay and am proud to say it has been a great experience (except for that jerk in lower Michigan).  Anyway, I am listing about a dozen odd sleeve/vinyl combos. These "SLEEVES" are a stiffer cardboard.  See pictures and descriptions below.  Later in the month I hope to list 5 Elvis SUN RECORDS on colored vinyl.  These are near mint to mint.  Vinyl only, no sleeves. They look great.  If you are interested, please let me know.

Thanks again to all of you who have purchased from me.  I tried my best to be honest in my gradings and listings and I believe my ratings show that. 

Vinyl:      Black Label, DOG ON SIDE.  Grading is MINT.  In this case Mint means no scratches, no skips, no blemishes, no fingerprints.  High amount of gloss. It looks fantastic !     

Sleeve:    MINT.  This sleeve is not paper----it is a stiffer cardboard.  Even more so than what a 33rpm would come in.  I have sold many of these sleeves and have seen others on Ebay.  It appears to be "homegrown" but like I said....I have seen a few.  It almost looks like the paper sleeve was cut in two and placed on a cardboard sleeve.  But why???  Why would someone do this?  This is why I question whether is came that way, or if someone made it.  Either way, it looks Perfect. (see pictures)  This plastic cover is on so tight that I can not remove it without ripping it off.

Carefully read my grading policy.  I visually grade all records under bright lights.  I try my best to give you a very clear description of what you are buying.  If for some reason the record does not play to the grading I gave it----please email me as I will be happy to work with you for an adjustment or refund. 

RECORDS:  

          Sealed: Store stock new

• Mint: Like new or near new with only one or two small insignificant defects
• Near Mint/M-: Extremely nice. Would be Mint, except for a possibly a couple of light hairlines or scuffs
• VG++: Still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss but may have a few more light, surface marks, hairlines, needle tracks or the like
• VG+: A nice, but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It probably plays with a some pops
• VG: A well-used record that still should sound OK when played, but may have moderate surface noise, pops, and even a possible skip.
• VG-: A very well-worn record that plays through, probably has skipping and snap, crackle, pop
• Good: Probably will play through but with much in the way of surface noise, pops, crackles, skips etc.
• Fair: You’re getting this record just to own.
• Poor: The sky’s the limit as far as condition in the negative sense

COVERS:

There are really too many possible defects regarding covers to be as specific in my definitions as I had been with my record grades. But please keep in mind these general grading guidelines:

• I will give greater weight to the condition of the front cover than back cover when assigning an overall grade
• Stickers – I will state if there are any
• If I write that a cover has a punch-hole, I’m talking about a small punch-press type hole
• A factory saw mark is a narrow cut in the perimeter of the cover, could be anywhere and vary in length from 1/2” to 2” at the most.
