Description Vintage 1971 mono pressing of Worldwide 50 Gold Award Hits, Vol. 1 (RCA LPM-6401), a 4LP box set celebrating Elvis Presley’s legendary career. This complete set includes the original photo album booklet, all printed inner sleeves, and a powerful archive of vintage newspaper clippings surrounding Elvis’s passing in 1977 — a deeply personal tribute to the King. Deadwax (All Sides): ZPRM 1508–1515 with lacquer cuts ranging from 4S to 5S, consistent with Indianapolis pressing. No RE or club markings. Mono mix — rarer and more collectible than stereo.
Condition & Grading • Vinyl (All Sides): VG Surface scratches present; plays through with noise between tracks and during quiet passages. • Outer Box: G+ Split at all four corners; shelfwear and edgewear consistent with age. • Inner Box: VG- One split corner; structurally intact. • Photo Album Booklet: VG Complete and intact; shows little to no handling wear. • Inner Sleeves: VG All four printed sleeves present; light creasing, pencil marks and age wear. • Newspaper Ephemera: Included Vintage clippings from 1977 covering Elvis’s death, burial, and legacy — adds emotional depth and historical context.
