Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1971 release of Merry Christmas / O Come All Ye Faithful released in the USA.
The vinyl record itself (74-0572)is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
The labels are clean and have NO WRITING!
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $65 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- )for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 44 years old and shows a few signs of ageing.
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING.
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some creases/ringwear/scuff marks and a couple of small holes from where a staple has been removed.(see photos)
This is quite a hard sleeve to find.
This sleeve does not come up for auction very often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $85 (£55)
With a starting price at under half that you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer discounted shipping on multiple purchases. (Please request total invoice when through bidding!)
APOLOGIES FOR POSTAGE PRICE INCREASES BUT THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL RAISING COSTS AS OF APRIL 2015
