Description

For auction, A Very Nice Copy Of the Extremely Important, and Sensational 78 by Elvis Presley, On Sun 209. The cuts are That's All Right, and Blue Moon Of Kentucky. The record is in VG++ condition, with some play wear, scratches, and scuffs. This record dates from 1954, and it's the first Elvis 78 released by Sun Records, and it's arguably the most pivotal recording for the birth of Rock & Roll. The sound of this record is excellent, and it plays much better than it's visual grade. In playback, the visual flaws are meaningless, as the sound is powerful. I am auctioning this, as I saw a copy on Ebay Saturday Night getting incredible attention, and my copy is in much better condition. I am experienced with 78's, and will ship this precious 78 in a 12 x 12 x 6 box, stabilized between 2 pieces of 10 x 10" cardboard, with the box filled with packing materials, so have no worries.   Please check my listings for great LP's, and 78's, including more from Elvis.

There has been some questions regarding whether this is an original from 1953. I bought it as an original many years ago.  It is heavy, not light like a vinyl reproduction. The matrixes are That's All Right  U-128-2   OK  #72, and Blue Moon Of Kentucky  U-129-2   #72  OK. I have enclosed pictures, I hope they help.
