I sold my record collection with my turntable etc. about five years ago. Recently I began selling a few things on E-Bay. A couple of days ago, while ferreting around in my basement den, I found an old record holder album with some of my late aunt's 78s from the 50s (she once was an usherette at the show given by Elvis when he came to town back in the 1950s). So, I'm putting them up on auction this week.
As I no longer own a turntable, I don't know how well they play. They are not pristine by any means. However, I am not a record collector and so have no idea about grading. My guess is that these are lower grade but, given their age, I'd say that most records of that period would be in this grade whatever it may be. However, on one side, the inner label is damaged with some of it ripped/missing.
I've looked on E-Bay and these are quite scarce records -- and often at very high prices -- but, since I cannot give you an honest objective assessment of condition, I'm starting them at a very low price and letting the real collectors arrive at the auction value.
