Description
You have the opportunity to bid on this highly desirable, First Pressing of "A DATE WITH ELVIS" (LPM-2011), by Elvis Presley, released in 1959. The record is a glossy VG+ and plays very well with no skips or repeats, although there are some surface scratches. The labels are clean with just some spindle marks present. The Cover is VG- with the usual lower seam split of about six-inches that is found on about 80% of these examples. Upper seam is only 1/2" split. Someone long ago peeled the Red Sticker with the song titles off of the front for whatever reason, leaving about three tiny paper pulls from that area, along with some rippling of the surface where the sticker once was. There is a name written in blue ball-point on the back along with a number "9" (or "6") and circled. These are toward the corners and there is no other writing on or in the gatefold cover. The cover is very clean, overall with a very legible spine. It does have the usual shelf wear found on a LP cover of this age. Comes with an RCA Victor Inner Sleeve, showing other popular LP's from the era. This record is definitely nicer than most used examples out there. Please contact me if you have any questions.
