Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1964 single Ain't That Loving You Baby / Ask Me released in the USA.
The record itself (47-8440 )is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
There are some visible marks/scratches (nothing too deep though)
The labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING but do have some scuff marks (see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $35 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ for the sleeve alone.
This RARER sleeve has NO SPLITS , RIPS , TEARS or WRITING.(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear/creases.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to help try and prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
THIS IS THE 2nd ISSUED AND RARER SLEEVE ADVERTIZING "ASK FOR " ROUSTABOUT LP (rather than the earlier alternative sleeve stating "COMING SOON")
This rare variation does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $35(£26 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £28.
