Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1964 single Viva Las Vegas / What'd I Say released in the USA.
The record itself (47-8360 )is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
There are minimal visible marks/scratches
The labels are quite bright however have a name written on one side (see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $150 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ for the sleeve alone.)
This RARE sleeve has NO SPLITS RIPS, TEARS or WRITING.(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear / creases.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to help try and prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
THIS IS THE 2nd and MUCH RARER ISSUED SLEEVE ADVERTIZING "ASK FOR " Viva Las Vegas EP (rather than the earlier alternative sleeve stating "COMING SOON")
This one does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $155(£102 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £105.
