Description
There is a ghost‑pattern storage imprint in the dead wax and on to the grooves — purely cosmetic this is common on vintage 78s. It actually gives the record a unique look, almost like a faint patterned shadow. Does not affect play in any way. Record Condition:
Both sides show a ghost‑pattern storage imprint, purely cosmetic and actually pretty neat‑looking under light. Side A has two, possibly three very thin hairlines around the 5 o’clock area; these lines reflect differently than the storage imprint and appear to be light surface marks only. Side B also has the same ghost‑pattern imprint with no additional markings. Labels on both sides show moderate spindle scuffs—not heavy, but visible—and no writing or stickers. Labels do show normal age toning consistent with 1950s RCA pressings.
Sleeve/Jacket: Comes in a generic cardboard jacket with the original RCA Victor sleeve included.
Packaging & Shipping I pack all items securely using refurbished and reused packing materials whenever possible. I also make some of my own boxes and packaging for records and music sheets, designed specifically to protect these items in transit. It may look a little different from standard mailers, but it’s sturdy, protective, and helps keep shipping costs down for both of us while reducing waste.
