Description
This item is the 1957 Christmas album from Elvis Presley. (Note: all the photos included here are of the actual item you are bidding on.) The record contains the following tracks: Santa Claus Is Back In Town, White Christmas, Here Comes Santa Claus, I'll Be Home For Christmas, Blue Christmas, Santa Bring My Baby Back, Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem, Silent Night, Peace In the Valley, I Believe, Take My Hand Precious Lord, and It Is No Secret. The gatefold sleeve is bound with sort of a red leather-like strip the length of the spine, and embossed with the album title and issue number in gold. The outside of the cover has some VERY minimal signs of damage; there is a small nick in the front of the cover adjacent to the binding tape about three inches from the bottom, some minor edge wear, and a light scrape mark along the top edge of the back. Inside the cover are 10 additional photo pages, all in excellent condition. Otherwise there are no tears, peel marks, writing, creases, seam splits, or any other damage. The record has some pretty extensive light scuffing, but played through completely for me with only the typical crackling of a well-used - but not otherwise damaged - record. The trail-out groove matrix numbers end in 1S on both sides. The issue number of this item is RCA LOC 1035. Minimum bid is $5.00 with no reserve! Payment will be expected within 3 days of auction's close unless prior arrangements are agreed to.
