Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1958 EP release Christmas With Elvis released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA - 4340 dog on top) is in VERY GOOD+ condition with some visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic though)
The centre labels are CLEAN and have NO WRITING (see photos)
This is also the RARER issue WITH DOG ON TOP
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $80 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 60 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.
There is NO WRITING!!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this grading higher is some partial seam splits on the top and bottom , spotting and creases / ringwear and age discolouration.(see photos)
That all said the colours are still quite nice and this is certainly good enough to go into a collection until that mint $300 (£225+) record and sleeve come along.
Overall a couple of years ago this was valued at around £115+.
I will start this at under half of that!!!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
