ELVIS PRESLEY – “DOUBLE TROUBLE” (LSP-3787) with RARE Second Cover Variety from 1968! There is no “Bonus Photo” Blurb in Lower Film frame!! I am INCLUDING the CORRECT “Bonus Photo” with this NM Album!
RECORD: NM- with beautiful, original gloss! This Indianapolis pressing has just a few very light surface marks that do NOT have any effect on the audible performance. This Original Soundtrack Recording played great upon test! The Labels are beautiful, with just a couple very light spindle marks. The matrix numbers end with 7S/7S.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with 100% of the original shrink wrap still present, although there are a few very small tears in the upper portion of the front, that were caused by something that actually subjected the cover to three tiny scuff marks where usual “ring wear” would occur. Aside from that, there is a small amount of wear to the lower right corner tip area, which is actually quite trivial. This cover variety is RARE due to the fact that there is no “Bonus Photo” blurb in the lower film frame on either side of the cover. That blurb was removed in 1968 when supplies of the photo were exhausted and replaced with a second set of “DOUBLE TROUBLE”. This actually looks quite odd, but did last until late 1968, the beginning of the Orange Label era. Copies of those are extremely rare. This is a fully original and highly attractive cover and album, as a whole, that belongs in a high-end collection of Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia.
INNER SLEEVE: Comes with the original “ “ELVIS’ GREAT LP CATALOG” (40C) sleeve from the era.
BONUS PHOTO: NM with just some very minor record impression.
