Description
RCA Victor 20-6604: Elvis Presley "Don't Be Cruel" b/w "Hound Dog"; 78 RPM 10" record
We're auctioning a copy of the 1956 single "Don't Be Cruel" b/w "Hound Dog" (sometimes known as a "double-A side" as both songs charted at the same time) on 78. The record is housed in an unmarked manilla sleeve. As we lack a turntable with 78 capacity we can only grade the record visually: the sheen is bright, there are, when examined in a strong light, some small patches of shadowing, but no marks of scratching, perhaps some slight evidence of groove wear but truly minimal (no flakes, chips, scuffs, etc.); the label is bright and without wear, though a previous owner (?) has lightly pencilled "9/56" to the B-side. All in all an E- or so. 78s receive our special care in packing; as with any good purchased from us the item will arrive in the condition described.

For the US, we usually prefer to ship everything USPS priority mail or first class with a delivery confirmation number. Priority mail offers average 2-3 days delivery of shipment. Other methods of shipping are available upon request. Postcards, photos, and flat items will be shipped priority mail for best service. We will ship worldwide. PLEASE NOTE:international buyers please be aware of currency exchanges and we will assess shipping rates accordingly. If there are specific exporting problems involving the item that you won, let us know about this ahead of time please. For international buyers any additional costs, such as tax or duties will be incurred by the customer.
