ELVIS PRESLEY - “ELVIS' GOLDEN RECORDS” (LSP-1707), A FIRST PRESSING FROM 1962, IN STEREO, WITH THE WORD "STEREO" IN STAGGERED FASHION AT THE BASE OF THE LABELS. RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with original glossy surfaces! There are just a few very light surface scuffs that should have no effect on the audible performance. This Hollywood pressing should play beautifully from beginning to end! The labels are super clean and original, with barely a spindle mark to be found! This is a scarce First Pressing from 1962 with the word "STEREO" in staggered fashion at the base of the labels. These were short-lived as the newly designed, "White Top" labels were to be introduced in October of 1964. This album was originally released in April of 1958 in Monaural only, until this issue. The album is chock-full of Elvis' biggest hits from 1956 through 1957, the era when Elvis ruled the charts and was established as the "King Of Rock n' Roll"! The Matrix numbers on this beautiful example end with 3S/3S. COVER: VG++ (EXC) and fully original! This cover has absolutely no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes. There is just a small tear (approximately 1 inch) on the spine, toward the center. Aside from that as well as some light ring wear, there really are no negatives worthy of mention. This is one beautiful, 56-year-old cover! INNER SLEEVE: The original gray "RCA Victor" sleeve from the era.
