You have the opportunity to bid on this Double EP set, simply titled "ELVIS PRESLEY" (EPB-1254), released in 1956 on the RCA Victor label. This EP set has always been highly sought-after by collectors and is very rare in Near Mint. The set that you see here is in over-all VG condition. I am gradually listing to sell my Elvis Presley record collection, which I began putting together shortly after The King's untimely demise in 1977. My collection of First Pressings is quite vast and is only missing the Sun singles along with the Monaural versions of "Elvis' Gold records, Vol. 4" and "Speedway", which are very rare. I have always strived for the best quality that I could find, upgrading inferior examples along the way. I plan to list primarily 1968 and earlier material, which is the most popular amongst collectors.

This EP set includes 8 of the 12 songs heard on Elvis' debut album, "ELVIS PRESLEY". The vinyl 45's are clean, but there are some superficial scratches that may or may not create audible disturbance (I have not played these). The labels are very clean and glossy with no stickers or writing present. Visually, I would grade Record 1 as VG+ and Record 2 as VG- and the cover as VG- to VG as there is a seam split on the top of the back pocket that runs 3/4 of the way across along with a 3-inch split on the bottom of the same pocket. Like many collectors, I do not like taped covers. This cover is no exception! There is also no writing, grafitti or stickers on this item! There does appear, however, to have an area on the upper right of the back cover where a sticker was removed at some point in the past along with general shelf wear. The lettering on the spine is very legible. A great record and cover for being well over 56 years of age! See the photos for multiple views of this cover and the record to judge for yourself.

This album will come with a plain white sleeve for each 45 EP and shipped with the records separated from the cover to prevent further seam splits from the records sliding around during transit.
