ELVIS PRESLEY - "ELVIS PRESLEY" (LPM-1254), THE ICONIC DEBUT ALBUM THAT ROCKED THE WORLD BY STORM!!
For your consideration, "ELVIS PRESLEY" (LPM-1254), The King's debut album that started the Rock n' Roll ball rolling! Released in 1956, this is a very early issue with the Light Pink "ELVIS" on the front. Later issues have his name in "neon" pink.
RECORD: VG- with many superficial scuffs & scratches, though none are so deep that they can be felt with the fingertip. This record should play well enough to enjoy, but expect some surface noise and light ticks in some areas nonetheless. Both labels are clean, but with the expected spindle marks that a well-played record should have. On the Side 2 label, there are a previous owner's initials on the Dog, written in red. This is a Hollywood pressing with matrix numbers ending with 8S/7S, respectively.
COVER: GOOD+ with a fully split upper seam on this early issue with "ELVIS" in Light Pink. There is also a previous owner's name written on Elvis' guitar in red ink. There is a 1-inch lower seam split as well as a 2-inch seam break along the bottom edge from the record sliding within. Though there is some spine wear, the lettering is fully legible. Very light staining and yellowing from age is observed on the back. There is no tape or staple holes present.
