Description
Rare Elvis Presley 45 RPM EP record with jacket. Made in 1956.
This record, RCA Victor SPD-22, was an item that came with the purchase of an RCA Victor phonograph. It was never offered for sale on its own. The only way to get it was with the purchase of a phonograph.
It originally came with two extended play records for a total of eight songs. Record 599-9122 is included here, but record 599-9121 is missing. The included record is in fair condition. It has numerous light scratches and the paper label is damaged on one side. I don’t have a way to test the record so I can’t vouch for how it plays. If I had to guess though, I’d say it probably plays, but with some clicks and pops.
The sleeve is made of card stock like an an album sleeve, and folds open. There is a pocket in each section for the records. The front and back are as shown in the photos, and the middle sections are plain white, which is the way it came originally.
The sleeve is in good condition with no splits and just one small tear in the outer paper, as shown in the photo with arrows. The front has a little age darkening and some minor scuffing. The back is the same with the addition of some small stains.
Just to make sure it’s understood....this sale includes the sleeve and ONE record. The other is missing.
