This record originally shipped on April 21, 1959, following the release of A Big Hunk O’ Love / My Wish Came True in June and A DATE WITH ELVIS in July. Ernst Jorgensen states that it sold, “close to 100,000 copies,” or approximately 20% fewer than the first volume.
