Up for auction is this RARE WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL Elvis Presley EP, Easy Come, Easy Go. The jacket is a plain white generic sleeve. The record is in G+ condition exhibiting some surface scratches/wear. It did not skip when I played it on my Audio Technica turntable with a weighted tone arm.
This is one of the more rare Elvis records for two reasons. First it is a white label promo copy and this is rare for EP's. You just don't see a lot of white label promos for EP's. Second, this is the rare version with Hal Wallis' name misspelled as "Hall Wallis." Once the error was discovered they corrected the error and repressed them with the correct spelling.
In 1968 RCA reissued most of the Elvis EP's using orange labels. Not many were pressed and now are considered some of the rarest and hardest to find Elvis records.
