Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1961 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis By Request in the USA.
The record itself (LPC-128)is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition with a few marks/scratches and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
The centre labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING!(see photos).
This is one of the tougher to find USA E.P's as it plays at 33.3 rpm and has a small centre hole(rather than the normal large centre jukebox hole)
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $35 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 50 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There is NO RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!.(see photos)
The only thing that stops this grading higher is some scuff marks/ringwear/discolouration, wear to the bottom where there is the start of a seam split and a numbered sticker on the front cover (see photos)
This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £65+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $60(£40approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £42.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
