Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1961 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis By Request in the USA.

The record itself (LPC-128) is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD condition with some visible marks/scratches ( nothing too deep or drastic though) and retains some of it's natural sheen.

The centre labels are quite bright , clean and have NO WRITING.

This is one of the tougher to find USA E.P's as it plays at 33.3 rpm and has a small centre hole (rather than the normal large centre jukebox hole)

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $40 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is 54 years old and is in nice condition for the age.

The only things that stop this grading higher is some light ringwear(mainly on the rear) and a partial seam split on the side(see photos)

That said this is a nice enough affordable collection filler until that mint one comes along!

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70(£48 approx) .

I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £50.

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
