Description
"Bonus Photo Week" continues as I now present the latest from my 35-year-plus collection of Elvis Presley records for auction. You now have the opportunity to bid on this EXCELLENT copy of "FRANKIE AND JOHNNY" (LPM-3553). This Original Soundtrack Recording was released in 1966 on the RCA Victor label. This beautiful, glossy record is a First Pressing, with only a few very light surface scratches that should have no bearing on the sound quality. The Matrix Numbers are (Side 1): SPRM - 7386--5S and (Side 2): SPRM - 7387--5S. The labels are NM- with a bit of wear about the spindle hole. This is a scarcer label variety in that the title, "Frankie And Johnny" does not appear in bold lettering just under the dog like on most copies of this record! At first glance, it would appear that you were looking at "ELVIS" (LPM-1382)!!! Just beneath "ELVIS", there is a paragraph in smaller print that goes on to say "In the Original Soundtrack Album 'FRANKIE AND JOHNNY'". The cover is NM with the shrinkwrap still fully intact! The Bonus Photo Shrink Sticker remains entirely intact as well! There is also a store price sticker applied, "Compare at $3.79 - OUR PRICE $2.98"! You will not find a more pristine cover for this album anywhere! It is a true GEM!! Now onto the Bonus Photo! This beautiful 11-3/4" x 11-3/4" full color, June Kelly photo is NM- with only the circular record impression visible along with just a few minor bend marks from handling. Still looks as new! This photo was definitely not hung on a wall. This set that you see here is nearly unimprovable and would compliment any collection of high-end Elvis records and/or memorabilia! This album will come with its original "ELVIS" Inner Sleeve from the era. This record will be shipped with the record separated from the cover to prevent seam splits from the record sliding around during transit.
Please note: I ship all records in cardboard record mailers and not those flimsy bubblewrap envelopes that offer no real protection against breakage.
