ELVIS PRESLEY - HAVING FUN WITH ELVIS ON STAGE - RARE BOXCAR ISSUE From 1974!
RECORD: VG+ with full original gloss, although there are several very light scattered surface scuffs and scratches. None of these can be felt with the fingertip, so this record should play very well. This Hollywood pressing has very clean "Boxcar" labels, with just some light spindle marks noticed. There is no "Side 1" or "Side 2" on the labels; the sides are marked in the dead wax trail-off! It is stamped "ELVIS SIDE 1" & "ELVIS SIDE 2". This album was sold exclusively at Elvis' personal appearances beginning in August of 1974 and was not an official RCA Victor release until October of that year with number CPM1-0818. The Boxcar issues have no number. These Boxcar issues are very scarce and Jerry Osborne has a value of $250 assigned to them in Near Mint in his "Presleyana VII" (2012).
COVER: VG+ with some light to moderate ring wear being the main detraction. There is one short vertical bend on the front from pulling the record out. A very solid, original cover with no seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes.
INNER SLEEVE: The original "ELVIS' STEREO 8 TAPE CATALOG" sleeve from the era, though there is a tear at an upper corner.
