Description

This is the very rare & unique version of "He Touched Me" which due to a production error plays at  about 35rpm. Approximately 10,000 were manufactured before the error was discovered & recall issued.  This record is described in Presleyana VI, pages 3 & 47; Presleyana VII page 54, ,  in Paul Lichter's book "The Boy Who Dared to Rock" 1978 page 254, elvisrecords.com,   (Sept. 30, 2017), etc. There is significant documentation about the specifics of this record.  On the "He Touched Me" side, though the label reads "APKS-1277", in the trail or run-out it is machine stamped "AWKS-1277-4S". Please refer to the pictures for specifics, this is a Hollywood Pressing Plant product. Both the picture sleeve & 45 are great examples of these songs. The picture sleeve has very slight partial storage-wear which is hard to see (graded 9/10 (NM-). The picture sleeve does "not" have seam-splits,  tape, pen, pencil, stickers, holes, staples, bent corners, etc., just a nice flat copy (RCA Victor 74-0651). The record has wonderful labels, vinyl, & gloss, "no" spindle marks (graded 9.5/10 (NM).  Thanks for taking a look.
