Elvis Presley - Hound Dog/ Don't Be Cruel

(HMV 45-POP 249 UK 7" 1956)

This is a UK original 7" pressing. The record has purple "HMV" labels which have gold text. They have a 4 pronged centre. It has 1st press -1N/ -1N matrix stampers. It comes with its original company paper sleeve.

This is a genuine UK 1st pressing with HMV labels with gold text. A classic Rock 'n' Roll/ Rockabilly single. These are quite rare. 



Vinyl: There are some mild to moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 6 light hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. Good++ condition. The labels are in VG++ condition & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. The company paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits. There are a couple of small tears on one side.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays VG+ to Near EX overall. There is some light or very mild crackle in a few noticeable in the quieter places. A really nice audio copy.
