The Recording that Made History......

THis  SECOND 10 INCH in the limited edition set- is a little more professional than Elvis' first which used a upside down used Sun Label. This time Marion used a pre-printed Memphis Recording Service label. Again she used a typewriter to put the song titles and Elvis’ name on it. This is an Exact Duplicate of Elvis' second Recording EVER....................

  Early in 1954, Elvis after recording his first Acetate at Memphis Recording Studios, still hadn't heard from Sam so he decided to go back and pay another $ 4.00 to record two more sides. He recorded two more ballads titled: It Wouldn't Be The Same Without You and I'll Never Stand In Your Way. 

Nearly the same, happened again. In other words Marion was impressed and saved a copy for Sam, but Sam wasn't Convinced Yet.

It would take nearly another half year before Sam Finally Found a Song he needed a singer to record; and Remembered the recording by the young kid Elvis. So, he invited him in for a try-out and a possible recording session.

The rest is history...

This record was returned because the guy who purchased it needed a 78 speed record for his Jukebox. This record is 45 speed although it is marked 78 speed for authenticity. Please be aware of difference. It is 78 size 10 inch.

I have been asked about the yellow version of this 10 inch and Yes, there is a yellow version floating around out there. It is a second issue, This is the Original and The Only EXACT Copy of Elvis' Second 10 inch. which was pressed on  Black not  Yellow Vinyl. There are only 300 copies in the first pressing of this  10 inch  & they are the only copies in existence that are
