One of the most rare of Elvis Presley's Export edition LP's, the first South African Pressing of Jailhouse Rock on the 1st press Black and Silver Spot RCA Record labels. 1st edition vinyl pressed in South Africa by The Teal Record Co. with 8JPP1 & 8JPP2 groove matrixes, Original Swan Printing Company Sleeve with "RCA - Popular - 31,126 " on a Pink background and Black perimeter. Original Export Patents Pending outer sleeve.
The full package contains all original features.
The Record has a full lustre with many light lines on each side. The labels have excellent print with a little wear and spider trails by the centre hole. Both sides play excellently well through most parts with the odd blemish to the sound. The Export Patents Pending sleeve has no splits or rips but does have corner creasing, light discolouration and a name written by the opening pocket. The outer sleeve is Very Good with excellent original print but with some surface and edge wear / light fading and discolouration.
