Description

Up for auction is this Elvis Presley Joshua Fit The Battle RARE Gold Standard Series single.  The Gold Standard Series singles were pressed in smaller numbers than the regular singles.  This one is even more rare as it was sold only at Easter time in 1966 so it wasn't available in stores for long.  As with all of the religious singles it didn't sell well so most were sent back to RCA and destroyed.  Today these singles are among the rarest of the Elvis records and are exceedingly desirable to Elvis record collectors.
The picture sleeve is in VG condition showing some ring wear.  The record is in only G+ condition.  There is some wear in the spindle hole on one side some surface wear to the vinyl.  Still a nice copy overall and a rare one.
I will be listing several  Elvis records per week until they are all gone.  I have LP's, singles, EP's, bootlegs, foreign pressings, etc.  There will be approximately 700 Elvis records that I will be listing.
