Elvis Presley LOVE ME TENDER/ANY WAY YOU WANT ME
78rpm POP.253 (1956)
I have a small quantity of Elvis 78s and one Cliff Richard 78 which I am listing. I have tried to grade carefully by Record Collector standards although this is a fairly new field for me so I have tried to err on the side of caution. I am not grading the packaging as in all cases these are the original simple sleeves the records came with - if they have faults though I will describe them. All are creased and worn, small tears, may have some writing on them. None of the records are chipped or cracked.
Here I am grading the Disc as G/VG
A brief summary of the grading standards I have used is given below.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
