Elvis Presley LP ( Rock 'n' Roll No2 ) HMV CLP1105. Well what can we say about this record, this record is rare to find these days in half decent shape. More often than not the sleeves are damaged badly and have pieces missing. As you can see by the photo's the sleeve is in EX condition with the only real damage is that the words Rock 'n' Roll on the spine are missing. There are no rips or writing on the sleeve, the half moon flip overs are intact. there are some small cracks on the spine but nothing major. Sorry about not showing a photo of the rear of the sleeve but my camera twisted the photo and i couldn't get it downloaded. I can assure you that it is as good as the front. The labels are in EX condition with no sticker marks or writing on them. There is some light fading of the lettering but still very readable. Spindle marks are quite light for a record of it's age. The disc i would grade at VG+. It has quite a lot of light surface marks and the odd scuff mark here and there. I have played the record through completely both sides and it sounds really great. There are no skips or sticking and not much cackling either. Even when you listen to the quieter tracks you hardly hear any cackle. Side 2 has a few pops here and there but i am sure with a professional clean that would be eradicated. Around the spindle hole on side 1 it has the letters XT. The matrix numbers are Side 1 - G2-WP-7207-2N Side 2 - G2-WP-7208-1N. The disc lays perfectly flat and is a heavy vinyl. The record is housed in the original HMV poly lined bag also in great condition. This is a record that would grace any Elvis collection, i would say good enough for an upgrade.
