'Item Description'
Overall: This is the LP that started it all, released in early 1956 this LP was to ignite a generation. This is one of the most important albums in Rock and Roll history, at the very genesis of it all.
Cover: This is a very nice original cover, the front has just a great look as you can see in the pictures, about the only visible issue is some very very light wear at the bottom center, tiny bit of wear. Back cover also has very nice look, some overall aging to the back white background and one spot at upper right, looks like a factory wrinkle when cover has originally glued. The corners have just a very slight bit of bumping, overall quite a survivor from over 70 years ago.
Edges and Spine: Top and bottom edges are in great shape, no wear to call out, the spine has some light cracking, but all titles etc are still visible.
Vinyl Record: The record is the RCA Silver top with Long Play at the bottom. The record has maintained most of its original gloss and luster, when turned against a bright light one can pick up on some light paper scuffs, nothing into the grooves, just the pesky scuffs from coming in and out of the inner sleeve back in the day. The labels are also in nice shape, just a touch of spindle marks when you look very closely. Certainly not perfect, but a real nice solid collectable album with no major defects.
Other: Inner sleeve is the original onion skin and it is in terrific shape, these are very hard to find in this shape, they tended to dry out and crack apart.
