A Closer Look: This is the genesis of Rock and Roll, in early 1956 a musical hurricane hit with the emergence of Elvis Presley. This is that original album that vaulted Elvis to the top of the charts, it is one historic LP. The cover on this one is very nice, front cover has a bit of wear at the center bottom, but it is light. Edges and spine are in fine shape, spine completely readable and no wear at all. The back cover is in very nice shape, normally the white background has a lot of darkening going on, this one has maintained its bright white look with just a slight bit of wear. A nice VG+ album cover. The record is in VG shape, it still has its original gloss and sheen, however, there is some consistent paper scuffing on the playing surface and marks from playing, all looks superficial, but does distract from look when turned to a light. Labels are in nice shape, with very little wear. This one also contains the original RCA rice paper inner sleeve, not a perfect original, but a very collectable record!
