Description

The classic mini soundtrack album for Elvis' debut film, "Love Me Tender"; this is an original US pressing of the EPA-4006 which was released in November 1956 and features four songs from the film, including the all-time classic title song;
Side 1 - Love Me Tender / Let Me Side 2 - Poor Boy / We're Gonna Move

The overall condition of this 'set' is a nice VG+ - it is not a 'Perfect Copy', but a fairly solid "filler" until an even better one comes along.
The SLEEVE; shows signs of age, no visible ring-wear but discoloration/"yellowing" on the back and white parts on front. The RECORD; This is the more rare "NO DOG" (with silver line) label variation. The labels look very, very nice and solid, only very minor 'faults'. The vinyl shows handling wear, some hairlines but nothing drastic.

-------------------- The 7-inch 45rpm EPA (Extended Play Album) format was something Elvis helped to explode in popularity in the 50's. They were like "mini-albums", mostly featuring four songs (two on each side) - so basically a format between an LP (Long Play album, usually featured 10-12 tracks on two sides) and a 45rpm Single (one song on each side). They were pressed in big numbers back then but they are still quite collectible and sought after today, possibly because they're far easier to handle and frame (as an example) than LP's. --------------------
