Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Love Me Tender released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA- 4006 dog on top) is in VERY GOOD+ condition with some visible marks/scratches (none too deep)
The centre labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING! (see photos).
This is the RARE 1st pressing as indicated by the 1s stamped in the trail off.
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $35 in the condition it is in now which I would say is VERY GOOD+ for the sleeve alone!!!
This would grade higher as there are NO SPLITS, RIPS or TEARS , however there is some writing faintly on the front but more writing on the rear ( hence the lower start)
This is an affordable collection filler until that better record and sleeve come along!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $50(£40+approx.)
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £42.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
