Description

 DESCRIPTION

  • Up for your consideration is an ultra-rare near-mint copy of an Elvis Presley 7" single. Tracks include Love Me Tender B/W Any Way You Want Me. This is the original 1956 USA pressing on RCA Victor 47-6643 and what makes this extra special is that the 45 is in absolutely terrific condition (read below!
CONDITION
  • The sleeve shows a bit of ware in the form of very minor creases, ring-ware and two pen markings on the front cover near the top left corner and on the guitar's head stock. There are also very minor pen marks in the back cover to check-off 45s (see pics). However, there are no rips, holes, stains or other markings. Overall, I'd say very good for a sleeve that's 56 years old. The record itself is absolutely gorgeous and appears practically unplayed! The only thing worth mentioning are a couple of extremely faint markings that won't be audible (see pics). Even so, I'd rate the record a solid mint-minus to mint. :)

NOTE ON RECENT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK

I'm an honest and fair individual that like many others has fallen victim to the completely lopsided feedback policy that eBay has adopted since May 2008 where a seller is no longer able to warn the eBay community of abusive bidders.

  • The latest was from a guy who was "very upset" that I posted a question that he had with regards to an item he won from me without his permission. Without his permission? By some twist of fate, my 3-year old ended up damaging said seventeen dollar item. I then immediately refunded his money and as can be expected from such an unreasonable individual, received negative feedback.
  • Then there was the buyer in Germany who bid despite my explicit USA-ONLY terms. He then wanted me to ship to an address not associated with his PayPal account, which is against PayPal's policy. I did not and consequently received negative feedback.
  • Another involved a pair of vintage Zippo lighters that were described as NOT WORKING. I was left negative feedback because... THEY DIDN'T WORK. PayPal refunded his money and the lighters were returned with significantly more cosmetic damage.
  • On another occasion, I was left negative feedback because a Nintendo Wii I sold only included two controllers instead of four. The Picture, the title and the description only ever mentioned TWO.
  • Yet another involved a guy who said I never shipped his iPod. A few days after posting negative feedback, the iPod was returned because he failed to pick it up at his apartment's mail center.
All attempts to have these people retract their unjust feedback has fallen on deaf ears. Any attempt to have eBay help against these unreasonable individuals has proven equally fruitless since their position is that feedback is "Opinion" based not FACT based. Yes, you read correctly. eBay considers a buyer's opinion paramount over the actual facts surrounding it. Pretty incredible huh? To add insult to injury, eBay uses these false and/or unreasonable opinions to further punish me by holding my funds at PayPal for 21 days before making them available.
