Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 release of Teddy Bear / Loving You released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7000 )is only in VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD condition as it does have a few marks /scratches( nothing too deep or drastic though).
In addition to this , this is the RARER release WITH THE HORIZONTAL LINE!!!!.
The labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING but there is a small numbered sticker on one side (see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $55 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This was Elvis FIRST FULL COLOUR PICTURE SLEEVE and has 2 GREAT DIFFERENT PHOTO'S .
This sleeve is 52 years old there are a few signs of age (wouldn't we all look a bit worn at 52!)
There are NO SPLITS , RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!!!!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some speckling / staining (see photos)
That said This Really is a nice original !! The record is now stored in a paper sleeve and the picture cover in a poly sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this great RARITY.
Overall this was still valued at about $80(£45) back in 2008 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £50.
I will start this at under a HALF of that!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
