Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL DEMO / PROMO copy of the 1966 GOLD STANDARD SERIES single Milky White Way / Swing Down Sweet Chariot released in the USA.
The record itself (447-0652 White Label NO DOG) is quite a hard one to find
The labels have NO WRITING but do have some ringwear/ scuff marks!
They are clearly marked with the words "NOT FOR SALE" (see photos)
The vinyl has quite a few visible marks but nothing deep or drastic but still retains some of it's natural sheen!
There is a minimal heat warp on the outside edge, which does NOT affect play!
I have play tested both sides through and it plays through with some surface noise but NO SKIPS or JUMPS!
I would only grade this as VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD (hence the lower start)
That all said this is a great affordable collection filler until that mint $150+ copy comes along!!
A couple of years ago this booked at $80-100 (£50-60)
I will start this at UNDER A HALF of that!!
This comes with an ORIGINAL Gold Standard RCA VICTOR sleeve. (which has NO WRITING!)
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!
PLEASE REMEMBER OVERALL CONDITION IF/ WHEN PLACING A BID BUT THIS IS A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER!!!
Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
I offer shipping discounts on multiple purchases!
APOLOGIES FOR INCREASE IN POSTAGE COSTS , HOWEVER THIS IS DUE TO ROYAL MAIL INCREASING PRICES FROM 2ND APRIL 2013!!!!!!!!!!
