Elvis Moody Blue, SS ( still sealed ) Original, according my my Goldmine Records Guide states, " circa 1977 black vinyl pressing in NM is $200 ( my guide is a couple three years old as well ); then a 'blue vinyl' pressing is much less closer to $25 in NM.. Interestingly the net in many searches I made in Google it was stated that the re-issue ( AQL1-2428 ) was an 1980's pressing but the Goldmine states circa 1979.. Have I confused you enough :)
This is a much sought after for it's rarity, black since the code AQL1 is in the catalog #, but interestingly and I have never seen this pressing before with a paper 'wrap around' sticker in the left front corner it states on the SS Album, AQL1-2428, and on the far right and bottom right (back side) the catalog # AFL1-2428.. In my conclusion, to this original pressing of a very clean SS Still Sealed, I believe the wrap around sticker indicates a very early re-issue of this classic vinyl album "Elvis' last and was being pressed during his death which is why the blue vinyl pressing is more common; the production was halted at the wake of the news of elvis dying they changed the black vinyl that came right after some blue vinyl was pressed and changed it back to blue.. I hope I did not confuse you again:-)
But anywho, SS Still Sealed vinyl copy presumed to be BLACK by the catalog #(S), so the jacket is seen in some C-UP's there in my image files on this item listing page, the corners a couple of them have seen some very minor wear, edge wear and the rest is NM+
