US SUN/Third Man 2015 10" 78rpm by Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley's first Sun recording (Originally recorded in Memphis on July 18, 1953). This vinyl 78 paper sleeve is in Mint condition. Super clean and super glossy.  

 About this record: On January 8, 2015 Rock 'n' roll musician Jack White purchased Elvis Presley's first acetate recording and considered the holy grail of rock 'n' roll, at the Auction at Graceland. The acetate was recorded by Elvis in July 18, 1953.


This 2015 release was a limited facsimile 10-inch 78 rpm disc. The utmost attention to detail was paid in order to create an object so close to the historic original as to almost be indistinguishable from one other. From the reversed Sun Labels, to holographed markings on the vinyl for a used appearance. 



The acetate transfer was done by industry expert Alan Stoker at the Country Music Hall of Fame. The audio on this record is as clean as modern technology can make it without losing the feeling and soul that makes these two songs both haunting and breath-taking.
