An authentic Sun 45 rpm
Elvis Presley - Mystery Train / I Forgot To Remember To Forget - 1955
Grading is as follows and based conservatively on Goldmine standards:
Playing surfaces VG medium glossy with visible light scuffs but no major scratches. Record plays with normal hiss and noise for Suns in this condition.
Labels are VG+ and are medium bright with no major scuffs or chips and no spider cracks. Print is medium brown and shows the small anomalies associated with most original prints (brown specks outside print area). #223 is in its proper place at the bottom under Scotty and Bill. No push marks, as Mystery Train did not have them. No original paper sleeve. This will be sent in a generic.
Trail offs are engraved Sun 45-U-156 with a small number 20 to the right, and Sun 45-U-157 with a small number 20 to the right as well. Excellent playing record has been family owned (one owner) since 1955 and could be displayed proudly in any collection.

On Jul-29-09 at 04:10:25 PDT, seller added the following information:I have been asked to clarify the dead wax engraving. The word SUN appears just above the 45-U-156 and a small number 20 is about 1/2" to the right. Also the word SUN appears just above 45-U-157 and a small number 20 is also slightly to the right. This is not a repro, as it has been in the same family since it was purchased new. I will be auctioning some other original Sun 45's shortly. I am glad to answer any other questions. Happy bidding!
