Description
This is a 1957 original copy of Elvis Presley's Mystery Train/I Forgot To Remember To Forget. On the purple HMV label with gold print and having serrated edge labels, this is a rare export copy. It also carries FIRST PRESS matrices and stamper codes. That's the good news! The bad news is that this record is in very poor condition, with many scratches and scuffs - I've tried to show in the pics how bad this is. The record does play (though you might want to use an old stylus), but please note that both sides have loud background crackle - the first side (Mystery Train) plays through without sticking or jumping, but side two jumps slightly in the middle and near the end. Both labels are grubby and have sticker residue, while one side also has writing. The sleeve is original and is in pretty good condition, with no tears or writing.

Matrices: 7XAV 1450 - 1N and 7XAV 1451 - 1N (Mystery Train - originally the B side).
Stampers (same both sides): 9 o'clock: RT (Purchase Tax code) over 1 and 3 o'clock: G
