Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1955 single Mystery Train / I Forgot To Remember To Forget released in the USA.
The record itself (47-6357 dog on top) is quite a hard one to find.
THIS IS THE RARE issue WITHOUT the SILVER HORIZONTAL LINE!!!!,
You could say this is the USA Version of the UK HMV SILVER writing issue!
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PIECE OF ROCK AND ROLL HISTORY!!!!!!
The labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING!!!(see photos)
The vinyl shows some signs of play but also some nice natural sheen!
Overall i would grade this visually as EXCELLENT / VERY GOOD+.
This comes with an Original Generic RCA VICTOR sleeve and..........THIS ALSO HAS AN ULTIMATE BONUS OF A BOOTLEG SLEEVE.
It was thought for years that no picture sleeves were never issued for this release, however in the Presleyana VI edition it transpires that a picture sleeve exists,making it the 1st Elvis release with a picture sleeve!!
An ORIGINAL sleeve would set you back a cool $6000+ (approx £4000).
Whilst this is a modern reproduction (made in the 1980's i am led to believe) it is a GREAT addition to any collection until you can afford that $6000 sleeve!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
