ELVIS PRESLEY ORIGINAL* 1955 "BABY LET'S PLAY HOUSE" SUN 45RPM!
An original issue of Elvis Presley's penultimate sun single--complete with a vintage Webster-Chicago 45 adapter & original brown paper sleeve!
Everything matches up correctly--this is a 100% authentic disk!
"Baby Let's Play house", originally written and recorded by Arthur Gunter in 1954, was Elvis' fourth commercial single. It was the first song recorded by Elvis to reach the national charts, peaking at #5 in 1955 on the country billboard chart.
John Lennon borrowed a line from this influential song: "I'd rather see you dead little girl than to be with another man" when writing, "Run for Your Life" in 1965.
CONDITION

There's not much that I can say that you can't see in the scan; there are a couple medium-sized tears, rips, and scratches, but nothing tragic.
Visual Qualitative: GOOD
The vinyl still retains a slight shine. It has several small scratches and scuffs, and a couple larger ones
Audio Qualitative: GOOD
The audio is truly enjoyable. There is a slight "sun-hiss" (this is created from playing with a modern needle), some background noise, and a couple pops, but overall the reproduction is terrific.
(Note that the connection I used to my laptop to record the sound added some additional noise!)
Sleeve: VERY GOOD PLUS
The original brown paper bag shows signs of wear and several creases, but is not split or torn in any areas. These original sleeves are often lost throughout the times!
