Description
Here it is. The RAREST OF THE RARE in Elvis Presley 45 sleeves. The November, ORIGINAL 1955, discjocky only sleeve that is also known as the "cartoon sleeve". This is the very FIRST time that Elvis Presley's picture was ever on one of his records
Sleeve shows light handling and age appropriate faxing on edges.The front and back of the sleeve is extremely clean. NO RING WEAR on front or back. No seam splits. Lays very, very flat with no edge issues and the corners are sharp. (see photos)
The record is the ORIGINAL 4S pressing in VG+ condition with a few very light, small scratches on each side. GLOSSY vinyl and the label's are MINT. Remember, these records were disc jockey copies and, handled a lot. This record is on the high end of condition.
Goldmine puts the value of this sleeve at $1,800 and, the record at an additional $400.
NOTE: Have no idea why my photo shows, what appears to be splotches in the lighter areas of the sleeve.and labels The sleeve and record labels have no issues.
